Who Are We?
Rum River Special Education Cooperative (RRSEC) is a large rural special education service agency serving seven school districts in east central Minnesota (Braham, Cambridge-Isanti, Isle, Milaca, Mora, Ogilvie and Princeton).
Most specialized services are provided to students in their community school. Two therapeutic educational programs are the only separate school sites.
Services provided by the cooperative include all low incidence services such as vision, deaf and hard of hearing, interagency family facilitation, physical and occupational therapy motor services, school psychology, audiology, autism, P/HD consultation and special education administration and coordination. The coordinators and director of special education work closely with the special education teachers and administrators in the districts to improve curriculum and instruction on an ongoing basis.
