Bluejacket Pride Celebrations!
CIS 3rd, 4th and 5th grade teams celebrated the end of the trimester with Bluejacket Pride!  Students earn dogtags for showing the 5 character traits, Respect, Responsibility, Honesty, Compassion and Self-Discipline, as well as for Perfect Attendance, AR points, sticker acts, states and capitals, math masters and others!  Team-building games are played with great enthusiasm and student successes are celebrated with pride!  Great job to our students!

Ronald McDonald Bully Buster Program
Ronald McDonald presented his "BULLY BUSTER" program to our 3rd graders!  This program teaches kids about identifying and dealing with bullying by teaching the "C.A.L.M." approach:  Cool down, Assert yourself, Look them in the eye, and Mean what you say (and then walk away).  He also stressed the importance of bystanders helping out by telling adults if they see a bullying situation.  Our 3rd graders love this show every year!

Help raise money for our classrooms!

Tyson Project A+
CIS participates in the Tyson Project A+™ program, a fund-raising program sponsored by Tyson Foods, Inc. Through this program, we can raise up to $12,000 for our school this year! The money can go towards supplies, building improvements, school programs, or anything else we choose. Just clip and collect Tyson Project A+ labels from participating Tyson® product packages and send them to school with your child. We’ll collect the labels and send them to Tyson Foods, and Tyson Foods will send our school a check. Each label is worth 24¢!
Box Tops for Education
Earn cash for our school every time you shop for groceries. Clip Box Tops coupons from hundreds of products found at your local grocery store. Each coupon is worth 10 cents when we redeem them from General Mills.  Look for Box Tops coupons on Pop Secret popcorn, Bugels, Chex Mix, Gardettos snacks, Cheerios, Wheaties, Chex, Total, Kix, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Trix, Cocoa Puffs, Lucky Charms, Yoplait Go-Gurt, Pillsbury Rolls, Betty Crocker cake mixes and frosting, Bisquick, Progresso Soup, Old El Paso products, Gold Medal flour and many more! Go to www.boxtops4education.com to see a complete list of participating products.   CIS has raised $32,931.17 since 2004!  WOW!
Target Take Charge of Education
Here's a terrific way to raise funds for Cambridge Intermediate School! All you have to do is use your Target Visa or Target Card. Target generously donates 1 percent of your Target Visa or Target Card purchases to the school of your choice (CAMBRIDGE INTERMEDIATE) in the form of a cash donation through the Take Charge of Education program. Target tracks purchases charged to participating accounts and sends a check to us in March and September.  Signing up is easy.  Just visit target.com/tcoe, or call 1-800-316-6142 to designate Cambridge Intermediate as the school to receive a percentage of your purchases.
Campbell's Labels for Education
The Labels for Education program is a great way to get FREE merchandise for our school, and Campbell's makes it so easy to redeem labels. Participating in the program is easy - simply save the UPC labels from Campbell's products and send them to school!
