Let's give a great big hand to Joan Stock, our Adapted Phy Ed Teacher, for her creativity and hard work in creating this awesome video, to Mike our Technology Technician for helping with the technology piece of it, and to all the staff and students who joined in to make it so much fun!!
CIS KIDS WITH CHARACTER
Respect * Responsibility * Self-Discipline * Compassion * Honesty
Bluejacket Pride Recognition Ceremony
At the end of each trimester, Mr. Peterson and staff celebrate with students at the Bluejacket Pride Recognition Ceremony. Students participate in silly relay races and are acknowledged for showing one or more of our 5 character traits (compassion, respect, responsibility, self-discipline, and honesty), perfect attendance, AR points, fifty states and capitals, and many more! Great job students! We appreciate your hard work!
Purchase a CIS 2013-14 yearbook online by clicking on the link below. Yearbooks are only $18.00 and will be handed out at the end of May. (The yearbook sale is not a school fundraiser.)

Help raise money for our classrooms!
Tyson Project A+
CIS is participating in the Tyson Project A+™ program, a fund-raising program sponsored by Tyson Foods, Inc. Through this program, we can raise up to $12,000 for our school this year! The money can go towards supplies, building improvements, school programs, or anything else we choose. Just clip and collect Tyson Project A+ labels from participating Tyson® product packages and send them to school with your child. We’ll collect the labels and send them to Tyson Foods, and Tyson Foods will send our school a check. Each label is worth 24¢!
|Earn cash for our school every time you shop for groceries. Clip Box Tops coupons from hundreds of products found at your local grocery store. Each coupon is worth 10 cents when we redeem them from General Mills. Look for Box Tops coupons on Pop Secret popcorn, Bugels, Chex Mix, Gardettos snacks, Cheerios, Wheaties, Chex, Total, Kix, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Trix, Cocoa Puffs, Lucky Charms, Yoplait Go-Gurt, Pillsbury Rolls, Betty Crocker cake mixes and frosting, Bisquick, Progresso Soup, Old El Paso products, Gold Medal flour and many more! Go to www.boxtops4education.com to see a complete list of participating products.
CIS has raised $29,651.00 since 2004! WOW!
Target Take Charge of Education
Here's a terrific way to raise funds for Cambridge Intermediate School! All you have to do is use your Target Visa or Target Card. Target generously donates 1 percent of your Target Visa or Target Card purchases to the school of your choice (CAMBRIDGE INTERMEDIATE) in the form of a cash donation through the Take Charge of Education program. Target tracks purchases charged to participating accounts and sends a check to us in March and September. Signing up is easy. Just visit
target.com/tcoe, or call 1-800-316-6142 to designate Cambridge Intermediate as the school to receive a percentage of your purchases.
This fall we received a check for $1,585.53 -- that's not small change!
Campbell's Labels for Education
The Labels for Education program is a great way to get FREE merchandise for our school, and Campbell's makes it so easy to redeem labels. Participating in the program is easy - simply save the UPC labels from Campbell's products and send them to school!
Other Collection Items
Cambridge Intermediate also participates in fundraising through a recycling program. Please send empty inkjet and laser printer cartridges and used cell phones with your student or drop them off the next time you are in the building in the designated area in the main entrance.
