Letters of Recommendation are extremely important! They show a potential employer that you have demonstrated the skills, apptitudes, and abilities to complete a job duty with accuracy. Having three (3) Letters of Recommendation is preferred for Seniors because once they graduate, they will be competing for jobs with other adult workers who may have more experience or schooling. Letters of Recommendation help to narrow that expertise gap for young adults.

*Please Note: Know the difference between Letters of Recommendation and References on an application. References are people who employers will call for a verbal recommendation. Letters of Recommendation are written-usually typed,- and more formal statements about a candidate’s fitness for a job, college, or scholarship.
