At each grade level, students are encouraged to meet their Career Advisor to begin and continue the process of educational and career planning. The following is a set of guidelines for students and parents to consider during high school to begin to explore options for the years ahead. The Career Advisors are available to meet with students individually as well as in classrooms, student/parent meetings, and small groups throughout the school year.
9th GRADE CAREER PLANNING
1) Complete the Minnesota Career Information System (mncis.intocareers.org) career investigation unit required during your Economics course.
2) Attend the CIHS College Fair in the Fall (if applicable) to start exploring your post secondary options.
