TAPP is an educational program designed to provide education, resources, and support to expectant young parents.  This class is taught, in partnership, between the ALC and Isanti County Public Health.   

- Participants will have a better understanding of the importance of proper prenatal care and nutrition.

- Participants will understand the changes that occur during pregnancy and will know when to call their medical provider
if complications occur.

- Participants will know the stages of labor, how to use breathing techniques, and will be able to verbalize pharmacological and non-pharmacological pain relief methods.  

- Participants will be able to list benefits of breast feeding, will know how to feed a newborn, and will have an understanding of basic newborn care.
