Cambridge-Isanti Schools

Cambridge-Isanti Public Schools is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for students and staff. To achieve this goal, the district has supported the formation of a district-wide safety committee that holds regular monthly meetings. The safety committee includes representatives from each bargaining unit as well as each building within the district.

The district safety committee is a recommending committee with the purpose of bringing forward employee health and safety recommendations for administrative consideration and approval. Responsibilities may include a review of employee injury reports, analysis of building loss histories and trends, inspection of district facilities, review of employee and committee member safety suggestions, and communicating with district employees regarding health and safety matters.
